To match the project`s key challenges and objectives, the consortium is composed in a way that end users, manufacturers, ground operation service provider (SME), provider of ENDT techniques (SME) as well as top-level academic institutions are involved. This multi-disciplinary consortium consists of 13 partners from 8 different countries.

The highest proportion of person months (65 %) will be accomplished by the research partners pointing out the research intensive nature of the ComBoNDT developments. In parallel, the comparatively strong commitment of the industrial partners (22 % of total effort) demonstrates the relevance of the problems targeted in ComBoNDT for the aerospace industry, and their great interest in the project. Also three SMEs are committed to the project with substantial effort (13 % of total RTD effort) strengthening the innovative aspect of ComBoNDT and the competitiveness of the supply chain.
